The UK and many other places all over the world has been in some form of lockdown on and off for over a year now and for a lot of people it has been extremely tough on a lot of peoples mental wellbeing. We wanted bring together a bunch of songs that have a feeling of catharsis, positivity, empowerment of just plain joy. We wanted songs that will have you singing your throat hoarse, hence the ridiculous name of this compilation.
As with every CPRW Records release we are raising money for a charity. Hoarses For Causes is raising money for Music Support
.
Music Support is a registered charity founded in April 2016 by people from inside the UK music industry. They provide help and support for those in or employed by the UK music industry affected by mental ill-health and/or addiction. They also facilitate education and learning via workshops and training to individuals and organisations in the industry so they may be better equipped in the areas of awareness, early intervention and prevention. Given the strain and stress that COVID-19 has put on musicians we feel the Music Support are a great charity for us to raise some money for.
